A motorist who hurled invectives at Muntinlupa police after he was apprehended for a traffic violation was ordered released from detention.
Two Muntinlupa police and two members of the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau (MTMB) filed a complaint of alarm and scandal, resistance to a person in authority and direct assault with the Muntinlupa Prosecutor’s Office against Franz Luke Orbos, who had an altercation with authorities on July 14 along Susana Heights road in Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa.

The complainants are Police Corporals Marlon Sandoval and Rolando Liban, and traffic enforcers Felicisimo Co Jr. and Ramon Reamico of the MTMB.

Police have identified one of the three suspects in the theft of a spare tire that led to a shooting incident at a parking area exit of a shopping mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Thursday afternoon.

Police said the suspects were seen on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) of the mall stealing a spare tire from a vehicle parked on the second floor parking area and putting it in their vehicle.

A case of alleged theft led to a shooting incident at a parking exit of a mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa Thursday afternoon.

Police Col. Melecio Buslig, Muntinlupa City Police Station chief, said the incident happened at about 4:30 p.m.
The three unidentified male suspects were seen on the mall’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) stealing a spare tire of a vehicle parked on the second floor parking area and putting it in their getaway vehicle with plate number NAY-3288.

Muntinlupa Rep. Ruffy Biazon condemned on Wednesday the
killing of a traffic enforcer while on duty and offered a P100,000 reward to anyone who can provide information that will lead to the arrest of the gunman.

“The coldblooded, traitorous killing of a Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau (MTMB) officer while on duty deserves nothing less than the condemnation not just by myself but by the people of Muntinlupa as well,” he said.
Traffic enforcer Daniel Manalo, 36, was shot dead by an unidentified male suspect in front of SM Center Muntinlupa at about 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 16. He and a fellow traffic enforcer were conducting a clearing operation in the area.
