Frist Humanitarian Award
MACON, Georgia(41NBC/WMGT) Coliseum Medical centers had a lot to celebrate Tuesday morning, as one of their employees won a national award. C. Sabathne was awarded the Frist Humanitarian Award for his contributions to helping veterans.
A veteran himself, Sabathene knows and understands what they go through. That’s part of the reason he decided to become a therapist for behavioral health.
Sabathne works with various nonprofit organizations as a volunteer, and encourages other to do so as well.
“You don’t have to know what you’re doing and you don’t have to start a non profit, you just need an hour, and you just need to want to make a difference to something,” said Sabathne.

MACON, Ga. C Sabathne spent more than a decade in the U.S. Army, including tours in Iraq.
Now, he s a therapist at Macon s Coliseum Medical Centers. On Thursday, HCA Healthcare gave him their highest honor, the Frist Humanitarian Award.
Really surprised and overwhelmed. Again, this is a year where a lot of people have given their health, their career, and even their lives in the care of patients, he said.
C suffers from PTSD and says after nine fellow soldiers died from addiction and other things, he was inspired to become a therapist.

Parkridge Health Names Robert Magill, MD, Assistant Chief Medical Officer Wednesday, January 27, 2021
Robert Magill, MD, has been named assistant chief medical officer of Parkridge Health System. Since 2017, Dr. Magill has served as Parkridge Health’s chief of staff and Envision Physician Services regional medical director of hospitalist services.
In his role as ACMO, Dr. Magill will collaborate with Parkridge Health Market Chief Medical Officer Timothy M. Grant, MD, MBA, to manage day-to-day chief medical officer duties for Parkridge Medical Center and Parkridge East Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Magill will have oversight of clinical quality and patient safety, clinical informatics, pharmacy, and the medical staff office.
