Suspended officerâs GoFundMe is over $196k
Update: The fund is now over $208k.
The Utah officer who was suspended without pay for a harmless video mocking Lebron, has  a GoFundMe set up by a friend.
People gave very generously, more than enough to cover his lost pay. Thatâs when Officer Nate Sylvester decided to give the excess funds to other officers and families in the same predicament thanks to the Democrat cancel culture.
Heâs also donating to the Respondersâ Children’s Foundation.
The fund is now at $196,000 and growing.
His friend who started the page, Mr. Gannon Ward, wrote this: : Nate is beside himself!! He is SO GRATEFUL for everyoneâs donations. He was literally speechless. He has decided to donate a portion to the charity The First Responders Childrenâs Foundation, a charity for the families of fallen officers and first responders. Therefore, Iâm upping the goal again!
Idaho cop suspended for TikTok video mocking LeBron James
An officer who went viral last week for a video mocking LeBron James has now been suspended by his police department.
Last week, Nate Silvester, a cop in Bellevue, Idaho, took over TikTok with a video in which he mocked LeBron James’ tweet about Ma’Khia Bryant.
Following the death of Ma’Khia, a 16-year-old girl who was shot dead by a police officer in Ohio, the basketball star tweeted a photo of a police officer with the caption “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY”.
Nate Silvester then posted a video mocking LeBron’s now-deleted tweet, and he’s now being investigated by his police department for doing so.
