The Rotary Club of Kenora is planning another restaurant fundraiser on Monday, May 31, 2021 at The Cornerstone. A choice of six meal options for $20 each is being offered and in addition, dessert items for $9 each.
A portion of the proceeds raised by the restaurant will go toward the fundraising goal of the Kenora Rotary Peace Park, which has raised a little more than $30,000 of the $100,000 to complete the park.
The park will be located on First Avenue South and is a partnership between Kenora Rotary, the City of Kenora and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, trans, 2 spirit plus Memorial committee and is scheduled to open October 4, 2021.
