Segun Adewole Published 14 March 2021 The Lagos State Police Command has urged citizens of the state to disregard the trending news on social media that the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge has become a kidnappers’ den. Describing the news as fake, the Command said it has not recorded any kidnapping or information about kidnapping incident in the area. The Command warned mischief makers and those peddling fake news to desist or be made to face the full wrath of the law. This is contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. In a statement on Saturday, NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi, said the report was sheer falsehood, adding that such was never discussed either on the floor of the Congress or at any meeting of the CAF leadership. “The president of NFF, Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick, was elected as Member of the FIFA Council at the Congress, and that is what we are celebrating.
