A spokesman for the Libyan National Army, Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari said that the LNA forces had arrested Islamic State commander, Mohammed Mailed Mohammed, also known as ‘Abu Omar’ in Ubari, South Libya.
In a statement, the spokesman said that the arrest of Abu Omar, who is one of the most prominent leaders of ISIS in Sirte, is considered a major win for the LNA in its war against terrorism, SEE.NEWS reports.

He added that the arrested ISIS commander has previously waged many terrorist operations, most notably was the attack on the Oil Crescent, during which he was shot in the abdomen, and he was taken for treatment at Al-Jufra and then he returned to the city of Sirte.
