Mr Davies added: This is a tragic case of a man whose career and lifestyle were destroyed by alcoholism which led to his death last summer.
Mr Timms was admitted to hospital on numerous occasions with alcohol withdrawal and seizures and had the support of alcohol groups in Cornwall.
But he minimised his alcohol use and the effects on his health and lifestyle and was drinking large quantities of lager and vodka.
