Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle colliding into a residence in the 300-block of Mugford Road in Kelowna on May 11, just after 8 p.m., according to the RCMP in a media release. Police officers determined a blue Kia SUV had struck the house, causing damage to the building but no known injuries. Witnesses told police the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle had fled the scene on foot. An officer located a woman believed to be the driver a short distance away. While dealing with her, the officer noted signs of alcohol impairment.
