About 12.15pm (Thursday 1 July 2021), officers attached to The Hume Police District attended a food store on Bowral Street, Bowral, following reports that staff and customers were not complying with Public Health Orders. Police observed employees and customers not wearing a face mask while inside the premises and spoke with the manager, a 62-year-old woman. She stated she had no intentions of complying with the current orders and was arrested after refusing to provide police her details.

A woman and child missing from Sydney’s south have been found interstate. The 36-year-old woman and two-year-old child were last seen at a family members house on Truman Avenue, Riverwood, on Tuesday 11 May 2021. They were reported missing to officers from Campsie Police Area Command on Friday (14 May 2021), who commenced an investigation into their whereabouts. About 2pm today (Wednesday 19 May 2021), woman attended a police station in Canberra. Following further inquiries, the child was located at a relative’s home in Victoria. Both are safe and well. PLEASE NOTE: An image of Camilo is available on the NSWPF social media pages. Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s west. Camilo Matheson, aged 14, was last seen outside a school on Burwood Road, Belmore about, 8.30am yesterday (Monday 10 May 2021). He was reported missing to officers from Campsie Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him. Concerns are held for welfare his due to age. He may be using the rail network. Camilo is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
