Sharjeel Khan says will take power-hitting tips from Mohammad Yousuf Web Desk Wednesday May 05, 2021 National cricketer Sharjeel Khan has heaped praise on Mohammad Yousuf, the batting coach at the National High Performance Centre (NHPC) for helping with his technique, The News reported on Wednesday. Shan Masood, Imam-ul-Haq, Sharjeel Khan, Azam Khan and Naseem Shah are among the players training under Yousuf. Sharjeel says he is eager to make the most of this training opportunity.  “I am learning a lot from Yousuf bhai. He is advising me on my footwork and technique. I will also seek tips regarding power-hitting from him. Younis [Khan] bhai also helped me a lot during my time with the national team on Africa tour,” he added.

Former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee, 91, dies after contracting covid coastaldigest.com news network April 30, 2021 New Delhi, Apr 30: Veteran lawyer and former attorney general Soli Sorabjee passed away on Friday morning after contracting the coronavirus disease (Covid-19). Sorabjee was 91. He was admitted to a private hospital in Delhi. Sorabjee, a Padma Vibhushan recipient, began his legal practice in 1953 in Bombay High Court and he was designated senior counsel of the Supreme Court in 1971. He became the attorney general of India first from 1989-90 and then from 1998-2004.  He was appointed by the United Nations as a Special Rapporteur for Nigeria in 1997 to report on the human rights situation in that country. Following this, he became a member and later chairman of the UN Sub Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights from 1998 to 2004.

ANDSF in Helmand Pledge to Defend Country as Duty, Not for Reward Members of the Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANDSF) in the southern province of Helmand have said that they are prepared to defend the Afghan people and their country without any reward once foreign forces leave the county. These forces who have been battling the Taliban for years said that the withdrawal of foreign troops from the country will not demoralize them. “This is my country. If I do not fight for this country, no one will fight, we have to defend our homeland,” said Zamir Ahmad, an Afghan commando in Helmand.
