Facebook Breach: How To See If Your Account Is In Danger
04/05/21 AT 6:46 PM
More than half a billion Facebook users’ information was posted on a hacking forum after January s original breach of users full names, emails, phone numbers and even locations.
It’s difficult and nearly impossible to know if one specific account was among the 533 million involved in the recent breaching, but there’s a website that allows users to input email to see if the information is floating around hacker groups.
Haveibeenpwned.com only checks emails. It is also looking at adding phone numbers, according to website creator Troy Hunt.
