When it comes to Oculus Quest 2 accessories VR Cover already offered a fairly extensive selection of affordable products. It has now added a couple more to that lineup as well as expanding its accessory options for the HP Reverb G2.
Facial Interface and Foam Replacement Set for HP Reverb G2
The main addition Oculus Quest 2 owners might be interested in is the Headstrap Replacement. Retailing for $24 USD, if you don’t like the stock Oculus Quest 2 strap then VR Cover’s version may just provide the support you need when playing
Beat Saber. Greatly expanding the fabric rigging around your head it certainly looks like a secure fit can be achieved – and for half the price of the Elite Strap.

Becoming a one-stop-shop for all your Oculus Quest 2 accessory needs, VR Cover’s range is getting fairly extensive since the headset arrived in October 2020. The company has now expanded its product selection with the addition of a carry case as well as introducing its first HP Reverb G2 accessory.
Offering an alternative to Oculus’ official £49 GBP carry case which snuggly fits the headset – with or without the Elite Strap – and both controllers, VR Cover’s $29 USD version can hold the headset and controllers with zip pockets for additional storage. It won’t fit the Elite Strap or Elite Strap with Battery, however.
VR Cotton Covers
So let’s start with
VRFocus’ least favourite part of VR Cover’s Oculus Quest 2 accessory lineup, the original cotton cover which has been made for almost every major VR headset over the last few years.
Previous versions – like the one
VRFocustested for Oculus Quest – were great, not too difficult to attach and they protected the Facial Interface foam from getting gross and sweaty; plus being 100% cotton they were washable.
This new version which retails for €19/$19 still keeps those excellent qualities apart from one caveat, a new fastening system next to the nose. Rather than the old elasticated band which wrapped around the interface, the ends now contain a flexible metal strip – look closely at the pic and you’ll see the stitching – which can be bent around the foam padding.
