LAHORE : PML-Q Punjab Secretary Information and former Education Minister Mian Imran Masood called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi at his residence here on Saturday.
Ch Pervaiz Elahi gave him instructions about Ch Akbar Ibrahim, a joint candidate of PML-Q and PTI for the seat of Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin and Wazirabad in Kashmir elections.
He said Ch Akbar Ibrahim has been successful in the seat before and he will be the winner this time too. He said law and order should be improved on election day and implementation of law and election rules should be ensured.
Our service in Punjab is an open book. We are serving people. We have full support of people in Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin and Wazirabad. Our joint candidate will win this seat, the PML-Q leader said.

Islamabad: Vice chancellors of the universities and other stakeholders on Thursday presented various suggestions for incorporating in new education policy set to be announced on 23rd March 2021. They also demanded for declaring education emergency across the country and spending four percent of GDP on education.
The speakers were addressing an important online panel discussion successfully concluded here on the topic of Debating Pakistan Education Policy 2021.It was arranged prior to 3rd Rectors Conference 2021. The panel comprising of concerned stakeholders including government officials from Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Vice Chancellors, Central President Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association.
Panelists demand declaring Education Emergency, spending 4% of GDP on education

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Speakers at a penal discuss stressed the need for declaring an Education Emergency and spending at least 4% of GDP on education in order to bring improvement in the long-neglected Education Sector.
The panel comprising concerned stakeholders including government officials from the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Vice-Chancellors, Central President Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association.
They gave various recommendations in an online panel discussion on the topic of “Debating Pakistan Education Policy 2021”, which was successfully concluded on Thursday.
The recommendations were given so as they could be incorporated in the new Education Policy which is going to be announced on March 23, 2021.

LAHORE: An organisational meeting of PML-Q of Gujrat district was held under the chairmanship of Ch Pervaiz Elahi here on Saturday.
Addressing the meeting, Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi said Prime Minister Imran Khan is active for the betterment of the country.
Things seem to be improving. Imran Khan has raised his voice on every platform to highlight the Kashmir issue, to which he should be given credit, he said.
He said, “As an ally we advise the government as we see fit. All workers should prepare for the local body elections with hard work and dedication. Now we need a development march instead of a long march.”
