How many of us grew up learning about animals from Jack Hanna? He was always on TV bringing out exotic animals and usually letting them crawl all over a show host.
Sad news today from his family. They said the television personality and former Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Director would be stepping out of the public eye after a dementia diagnosis. They posted this letter today:
He was always the best on Letterman. Making David as uncomfortable as possible while he holds an exotic creature that could possibly bite his face off or pee all over his expensive suit. Here s wishing Jack the best with a look back at some of his highlight moments.

Fishing conservation charity OzFish Unlimited has partnered with Tangaroa Blue Foundation to help recreational fishers tackle rubbish in their waterways.
