Juneau Forecast Office Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Winter Storm Warning issued for Juneau has been revised by the National Weather Service.
Meteorologist Cody Moore in the Juneau Forecast Office tells News of the North it’s now scheduled to end at 9 Friday morning. It was originally to be in effect until 4 p.m. Friday
Moore said snow will be mixed with rain overnight turning to all rain by Friday morning.
Two inches of snow was recorded at the forecast office on Back Loop Road as of 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Six to ten inches is forecast for the back reaches of the Mendendhall Valley and out the road overnight.
