Back Mountain
The Back Mountain Memorial Library has closed to the public, effective immediately, due to the current spike in coronavirus. The library will continue to offer library materials via curbside pick-up, and items throughout the Luzerne County Library System can be requested through InterLibrary Loan. Holds can be placed online or by calling the library and speaking with a staff member. When notified that holds are ready, patrons will have two days to pick them up. Holds may be picked up anytime within the hours the library is open, at the side entrance, and masks must be worn. Patrons are limited to seven holds at a time. The children’s room offers “book bundle” curbside selections for those who are not sure what to select for their children. Patrons can answer a few simple questions and the library will put together a bundle to suit their interests. Call the library at 570-675-1182 for information, or check the library’s website at www.backmountainlibrary.org.
