With international travel set to resume from as soon as 17 May for those living in England and as rollout of the British vaccination programme continues in Anguilla, the British Caribbean island is expanding its ‘holiday bubble’ programme, helping visitors safely enjoy more of the stunning destination.
Until now, while in the island’s required 10 to 14 day ‘holiday bubble’ 2021 travellers to Anguilla could only access the beach directly in front of their accommodation.
Now, with the further expansion of the Meads Bay Bubble, in-bubble guests staying at partnering properties can swim, kayak, walk and run the kilometre-long beach that stretches from Malliouhana to beyond Frangipani Beach Resort while awaiting the all-clear from their 2nd on-island test.

Tourists in quarantine on the Caribbean island of Anguilla won’t be spending the whole time locked away in their room – in fact, they can hit the beach, go out for dinner at restaurants, or even enjoy some watersports.
Anguilla currently offers a resort bubble where visitors stay in one of the approved hotels, while they wait for the result of their Covid test at the end of a 10-14 day isolation period. (Travellers need to have proof of a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of travel to enter the island at all, and will also receive a Covid test on arrival).
