  Apr 07, 2021 01:04:03 PM The Public Rental Board is awaiting Police to complete its investigation into a brawl which happened at its flats in Mead Road, Nabua over the long weekend. PRB acting general manager Patrick Veu said tenants charged for their involvement in any form of violence will be evicted from their flats. Veu said they will decide their next course of action based on the outcome of Police investigation and authorities are trying to get to the bottom of the situation. “We have been told by authorities that only a few of the tenants were involved in the brawl. If they are found guilty, we will get rid of them.”

  Apr 06, 2021 04:37:12 PM The two men allegedly involved in the ‘bloody attack’ at the Public Rental Board barracks at Mead Road in Nabua on January 3 have been jailed for one year and nine months. Tevita Badogo and Eroni Bale appeared in the High Court in Suva on Tuesday before judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe. Badogo and Bale are charged with one count each of damaging property, criminal trespass, causing grievous harm, and an act intended to cause grievous harm. On the day of the incident, they allegedly broke the door of a flat at one of the blocks and assaulted three men.
