GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) Now that travelling is picking up again, the Appleton International Airport is hosting a temporary TSA PreCheck Enrollment Center.
Those registered with TSA’s expedited screening process can leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt; keep their food items in their carry-on bag; laptop in its case; and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on, in select TSA airport checkpoint screening lanes.
Enrollment will be held in the airport conference room from Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23.
To participate in this enrollment opportunity, travelers should pre-enroll and make an appointment online. Passengers do not have to purchase an airline ticket to access the enrollment center.

City of Milwaukee Fourth of July festivities are resuming because the health order restrictions have been lifted. Activities, including parades, picnics, and fireworks that were scheduled to take place in parks around the city, are scheduled for
Monday, July 5th.

July 5th daytime celebrations will take place at Humboldt Park, King Center and Enderis Playfield where volunteers carry on a tradition started in 1911. Fireworks will be held in ten Milwaukee County Parks including Alcott, Gordon, Humboldt, Jackson, Lake, Lincoln, Mitchell, Noyes, Washington, and Wilson. Most of the neighborhood activities and fireworks take place in Milwaukee County Parks, and county officials are important partners in hosting the city celebrations.
