(Douglas County, NE) The Douglas County Health Department has announced the times and locations for COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
DCHD says along with community partners, they will host four community clinics beginning in February in an effort to provide Douglas County residents 80 years of age and older with the COVID-19 vaccine. The health department says the four sites are being coordinated by DCHD in partnership with Nebraska Medicine, CHI Health, Creighton University and Methodist Health System.
The locations and times for the clinics are:
Christ Community Church at 404 South 108th Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The clinics will provide vaccine from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days until further notice. This begins February 2nd.

A man charged in connection to a standoff in Hastings in July was sentenced on Tuesday.
Court records show 37-year-old Gerald Edward Bolster was sentenced to five years (60 months) at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility. He was given credit for 172 days already served.
Bolster was convicted of three counts of threats of violents, one count of violating a harrassment/restraining order and two counts of child endangerment. He d pleaded not guilty to all counts.
Authorities responded to a Hastings mobile home park near 31st Street and Millard Avenue at about noon on July 2. When officers told the man later identified as Bolster that he was going to be arrested, he barricaded himself in a home with two children inside.
