WILTON Cider Mill School resorted to full remote learning on Monday to provide contact tracing after recent COVID-19 cases at the school.
As a result of the number of staff asked to quarantine due to contact tracing, the district decided to make the day a remote learning day. The district also cited a shortage of available substitutes.
All other district schools continued with in-person learning on Monday.
Superintendent Kevin Smith said in a statement Sunday that the district would be “assessing the situation” throughout the school day on Monday and updating the parents of the district on in-person learning for the days to follow.
