WILLIAMSTOWN â Want to have fun in a family-friendly environment? Well, the Williamstown Historical Museum will hold its Hay Day Fair on Aug. 15.
Located on the grounds of the museum, 32 Ashford Road, the fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is $10 for a family and $5 for an individual.
âThere will be something for everyone, no matter how old or young you are,â said Patrick Quinn, chairman of the program.
Sing, dance or just sit back and listen to the live music of Rosin the Beaux. And Accordion Al (aka Al Bedini) will perform, which should get people to tapping their toes.
WILLIAMSTOWN â Town officials are urging residents to fill out a survey detailing what qualifications and experience they would like to see in the next town manager.
The community survey, issued by the town manager search committee, is meant to guide the committeeâs work in establishing criteria and credentials it should seek in advertising for the post and interviewing candidates.
âThe committee would like to engage the citizens of Williamstown in the town manager search process,â said Hugh Daley, a member of the Select Board and liaison for the search committee. âWe are providing this opportunity for the community to rank some of the qualities they would most like to see in our new town manager.â
