Miriam Cámara Patrón, quien se desempeñaba como
jueza del Cuarto Distrito en el Estado.
Miriam de Jesús Cámara Patrón era licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY).
Fue docente en la Preparatoria Yucatán y en la Facultad de Derecho de la UADY.
Realizó su carrera judicial en el Tribunal Superior de Justicia del Estado y llegó a ocupar el cargo de jueza de Primera Instancia y magistrada del entonces Tribunal Superior Electoral.

On the weekend of Parashat Emor in 2009, my synagogue held a unique Bnai Mitzvah celebration. The celebrants were a group of six adults, most in the forties and fifties, who were residents at the Miriam Home, a Montreal institution that provides services for intellectually disabled adults. These Bnai Mitzvah turned 12 and 13 at a time when developmentally disabled children were hidden away, and because of that, they were excluded from a ceremony that every Jewish child takes for granted.

(NYSE: FE), presented surprise $5,000 Gifts of the Season to two local nonprofit agencies that are working to make lives better in the communities they serve. The gifts were presented on behalf of the FirstEnergy Foundation as part of its annual holiday Gifts of the Season campaign.
The recipients of this year s gifts are Miriam House in Norwalk, Huron County, and the Nord Center in Lorain, Lorain County – two organizations that provide support services to underserved and vulnerable individuals of all ages within their communities.
