They said he fled when the Seward County Sheriff s office tried to pull him over for a traffic stop. That s when NSP pilots started following the car. Troopers on the ground eventually caught up with Ferguson on eastbound Interstate 80. Deputies tried to stop the car but Ferguson sped up, hitting speeds over 100 miles per hour. Authorities say a high-speed chase between two of Nebraska’s major cities culminated in the arrest of a Minnesota duo.
Lamar Parsons Ferguson, 34, of Saint Paul, was driving during the chase between Lincoln and Omaha. Ferguson is charged with felony flight to avoid arrest, reckless driving and drug possession. His passenger,
Mia Miller, 23, of Columbia Heights, is also charged with drug possession. Ferguson and Miller took off on a high-speed chase exceeding 100 miles per hour rather than pulling over for a traffic stop on Interstate 80,

The state Court of Appeals on April 26 ruled for Wabash’s Otis R. Bowen Center for Human Services after it was sued by Kimberly Hyslop, who claimed an employee there connected socially through children leaked the results of her drug test.
