Energy Fiji Limited chief executive Hasmukh Patel said the process followed in restoring electricity supply started with hospitals, and then water pumping and treatment plants. Mr Patel said the following essential services were central business districts, business, and commercial areas, industrial areas, and then residential areas.  “We try and restore first all the essential services, we’re talking about hospitals, medical and health centres, water pumping stations, and water treatment plants,” he said.  “Your location and the way you are supplied power will determine the time it takes workers on the ground to inspect, repair and reconnect electricity to your home.
