The City of Sartell is hoping to turn the historic Old Sartell Bridge into a pedestrian and bike bridge over the Mississippi River.
The 420-foot steel comeback through truss bridge was built in 1914, connecting Sartell Street to the east and west areas of Sartell, the Minnesota Department of Transportation s website says. It was closed in 1984 and is now known as the utility bridge because it carries utility connections for the east side of the city.
Clown sightings raise concerns among Annandale residents
Stay away from sewer grates if you re in the area.

Well, it appears the clowns have returned to Annandale, Minnesota, at least.
A post from the city s Facebook account on Friday makes it clear there s been a rash of sightings lately:
The message, written by Annandale Chief of Police Pete Standafer, says his department is aware of this individual and we continue to monitor the situation.
Standafer also addresses what appears to be some confusion about how to properly report incidents involving the clown:
If an actual complaint to the police is not made, it affects our ability appropriately to deal with the situation. This has been, and will continue to be, how we successfully collaborate with our citizens to keep our neighborhoods safe.

Slushy accumulation possible Sunday; 80 degrees Monday?
Where the snow falls, it could accumulate â mainly on grassy surfaces.
Author:
There s a chance that temps skyrocket into the 70s and 80s on Monday, but not before an airmass cold enough to allow for light accumulating snow pushes through Minnesota on Sunday.
More from the National Weather Service further below, but meteorologist Sven Sundgaard has all of the details in the video here. Clouds and rain today will give way to clearing skies and cool temperatures on Saturday, with highs expected to remain in the 40s. Sunday will feature clouds and precipitation once again, though this time with snow during the morning that transitions to rain in the afternoon, says the Twin Cities office of the National Weather Service (NWS).
