STEARNS COUNTY, MINN. (KFGO) – A Sibley, North Dakota truck driver was killed in a crash on I-94 near Albany, Minnesota Wednesday morning.
The State Patrol says the westbound semi, driven by 59-year-old Brian Lemly, veered off the interstate, crossed the median, and entered the eastbound lanes where it collided with another truck and an SUV.

Three times on Wednesday a 20-year-old man put the pedal to the metal in northern Minnesota, and the result was the same each time: He was stopped by a State Trooper and given a speeding ticket.
Troopers first caught the leadfoot motorist about 1:50 p.m. near Grand Rapids going 73 mph in an area where the speed limit is 60. About 20 minutes later, a trooper caught him traveling 76 mph in zone marked at 60 mph. The third trooper clocked him going 78 mph in a 65 mph zone about 4:20 p.m. near Bemidji, the man s hometown.

A northeast Iowa man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash near Austin, Minnesota Wednesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrols says 48-year-old Matthew Larson of Decorah was driving a 2019 Sonata southbound on Highway 56 in Mower County when he collided with the 2013 Ford Explorer driven by 53-year-old Timothy Lafleuer of Brandon, South Dakota, who was westbound on County Road 3, shortly after 9 p.m.
Larson was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries. Brandon and a passenger in his vehicle, 51-year-old Troy Wallman of Harrisburg, South Dakota, were both taken to an Austin hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
