A northeast Iowa man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash near Austin, Minnesota Wednesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrols says 48-year-old Matthew Larson of Decorah was driving a 2019 Sonata southbound on Highway 56 in Mower County when he collided with the 2013 Ford Explorer driven by 53-year-old Timothy Lafleuer of Brandon, South Dakota, who was westbound on County Road 3, shortly after 9 p.m.
Larson was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries. Brandon and a passenger in his vehicle, 51-year-old Troy Wallman of Harrisburg, South Dakota, were both taken to an Austin hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
