Preparation
Make the pie crust: Add flour and salt to a food processor and pulse several times to combine. Add butter and pulse until it is broken into very small pieces and the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add vinegar and then slowly pour in milk, pulsing until the dough comes together. Remove from the processor and knead on a floured surface several times. Pat into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before using. Once it is chilled, place the dough in a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate, fold extra pastry over the edges, and flute. Freeze at least 15 minutes.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) â Coffee and lovers can now start their day with an extra shot of cuteness thanks to a new partnership between the Lexington and Scott County human societies, and two local businesses.
Central Purrk Cat Cafe, which is part coffee shop and part cat adoption center, held its grand opening on Thursday.
âWeâre so excited to FINALLY be opening! Weâve worked really hard to make this a reality, and weâre ready to help these deserving cats find their forever home,â said Jennifer Hoskins, co-owner of Central Purrk.

However, with COVID-19 restrictions impacting parties and other events, how has that affected food shopping?
At Critchfield Meats Family Market in Lexington, workers are keeping holiday dinner table staples, like turkey, pork, and ham, well-stocked.
President Mark Critchfield says after moving into their new, larger location on Southland Drive, holiday sales are up from last year. One specific area that s down though because of the pandemic is hot meal sales for office parties. While large meat sales are also down, they re countered by an increase in sales of smaller sizes.
