Maddie s Mitten March hosts winter gear giveaway Jan. 3 When Maddie Bozik was 10 years old, she began collecting winter gear for those in need. A few years later, Maddie s Mitten March raised enough money to buy an old school bus, even though the North Aurora teen wasn t old enough to drive. Now a college student, she will hold the annual giveaway on the bus on Sunday, Jan. 3, outside the North Aurora police station. Daily Herald file photo, 2016
