ONE of the most scenic bus rides in the British Isles returns for the Summer season this weekend. Northern DalesBus 831 to the Yorkshire Dales from Middlesbrough, Stockton, and Darlington will run every Sunday and Bank Holiday from May 16 until October 17, calling at Richmond, travelling along Swaledale, and climbing over Buttertubs Pass to Hawes. The service continues to Ribblehead, past Chapel-le-Dale and White Scar Cave to the village of Ingleton and then on to the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. The service departs Middlesbrough Bus Station at 9.20am, Stockton High Street at 9.32am, Darlington Town Hall at 10am, Richmond Market Place at 10.30am, arriving at Hawes Market Place at 12.05pm. After a short break, the service departs Hawes at 12.30pm for Ribblehead and Ingleton, arriving in Kirkby Lonsdale at 1.23pm.
