Stephanie Barnes was cited at 3:31 a.m. Monday in the first block of McKinnon for not having a functional license plate light. Her passenger, Francis Lewis, was served with an active arrest warrant out of East Liverpool Municipal Court A property owner in the 800 block of Fairview Street allowed the city housing inspector and an officer to do a walk-through of a resident without incident at 12:55 pm. County Sheriff Deputies checked at a Waterford Road, Unity Township, home at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 hang up call from there. The resident was fine and said he did not call 911. A deputy and two Minerva police responded to a home on Bayard Road after the residents in one apartment complained loud music was being played in another apartment at 11:24 p.m. Wednesday. No one was found to be home at the apartment where the music was reportedly being played and when they entered the apartment where the person lived who called police, officers could hear nothing. Lisbon A juvenile driver from Columbiana was cited for running a stop sign after striking a vehicle operated by Stanley Cusick of Lisbon at the intersection of West Spruce and North Beaver Streets on Tuesday. A garbage truck ran over the basement doors of a home at 219 E. Lincoln Way on Tuesday. Highway Patrol Benjamin Michael J. McEwen, 16, New Waterford, was traveling on Salem Grange Road in Salem Township at 10:18 p.m. Friday when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy conditions and went off the road, striking an embankment and a mailbox before overturning. McEwen was cited with failure to control.

County Sheriff A woman from Richardson Street, Negley, reported Wednesday her neighbor damaged the chain link fence when his trailer became caught on the corner of the fence as he was pulling away. An official from New Day Recovery, Union Ridge Road, Middleton Township, called Thursday because they wanted a deputy to stand by until an ambulance arrived to transport a woman to Youngstown. This was after the woman pulled a fire alarm and otherwise had begun acting disruptive. A residential burglar alarm went off a home on Mick Road, Yellow Creek Township, at 3 p.m. Tuesday, but the home was found to be secure. There was a small dog in the window and it may have set off the alarm.
