Skeletal remains found in creek bed ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The skeletal remains found along a creek bed in North Liberty last November have been identified, the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit reported.
Today, Metro Homicide Unit investigators identified the skeletal remains to be 43-year-old Rachel Zentz, formerly of LaPaz.
The cause and manner of death has been ruled as undetermined.
At 11:54 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020, a citizen discovered skeletal remains along a creek bed in the 24000 block of Stanton Road.
The Metro Homicide Unit, along with a representative of the St. Joseph County Coroner’s Office, met with family members to inform them of the identify of the remains.
