Elkhart Co. Homicide Unit investigating shooting that seriously injured 14-year-old
ELKHART, Ind. The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is now investigating a shooting that caused life threatening injuries to a 14-year-old boy.
The shooting happened Saturday just before 4 p.m. in the alley of the 1000 block of McKinley Street.
When Elkhart Police responded to the scene, they located a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound that was considered life-threatening.
On Monday, the Elkhart County Homicide Unit was asked to work the case.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Michiana Crime Stoppers and the South Bend Police Department are asking for the public’s help in learning more about a shooting that took place just before 10 p.m. on April 4 at Lincolnway West and Olive Street in South Bend.
Video shows an individual armed with a rifle shooting across the street at a vehicle parked at a JJ Fish restaurant.

The victim had taken themselves to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
