Tuesday is National Wine Day and May is actually Michigan Wine Month!
Melissa & Xavier just love wine and HAD to celebrate. So they got OUT & ABOUT for a little Traverse City wine tour.
Their first stop was wayyyyy down the Old Mission Peninsula at 2 Lads Winery. While there, owner Chris took the paid through a wine tasting. They learned why you smell the wine, what different wine types mean and that wine tasting doesn’t have to be crazy fancy.
Their second stop was Chateau Chantal. Owner Marie walked Melissa and Xavier through the winemaking process. They got to see how it goes from fermentation to bottling.

Shady Lane Cellars – Wine Social Shady Lane Cellars in Suttons Bay has their annual Wine Social coming up on May 29th, where you’ll be treated to small bites and wine pairings accompanied by live music. They’ll have socially-distanced wine and food stations set up in their beautiful outdoor space, making this a great way to kick off your Memorial Weekend.
