RICHMOND TOWNSHIP A Grand Rapids man was arrested this week during a traffic stop after a “large amount” of suspected heroin and meth was discovered in his vehicle.
At around 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, a sergeant with the Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant Post stopped a vehicle for lane use violation and speeding on US-131 near US-10 in Richmond Township.
The driver, a 36-year-old Grand Rapids man, initially gave the sergeant a false name.
His true identity was later confirmed, revealing he had a suspended license and warrants for his arrest.
