Tom Wolf to close all indoor dining establishments and bars in the hopes of curtailing a dangerous virus. That day, Weaver said, was one of the first times he realized COVID-19 posed a serious threat. And while the governorâs initial order presented a significant hit to his business, it was only supposed to last two weeks all it would take to âflatten the curveâ of virus infections. Two weeks turned into two more weeks. Then it was a color-coded guideline for when counties could begin to reopen. All the while, Weaverâs buffet-style restaurant, Shady Maple Smorgasbord in East Earl, remained closed for indoor dining and offered limited takeout options.

Mick s All American Pub to open at North Cornwall Commons in Lebanon

Mick s All American Pub is set to bring a plethora of menu options under one roof in Lebanon come the early fall after successes in three central PA locations situated in Lancaster County. Lebanon clicks all the check boxes, said Mick Owens, owner of the chain. It s a pretty natural progression. The restaurant, located at 105 Springwood Drive, is projected to open in September or October. Initial conversations around a Lebanon branch began about three years ago, and the idea returned during the pandemic in 2020, Owens said. The pub is set to be located in North Cornwall Commons, near the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center and Fairgrounds and several nearby hotels.
