Pandemic spending trends expected to continue through 2021

  TORONTO The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way many Canadians spend their money and trends that began one year ago are expected to continue into 2021. During lock downs, self-isolation and working from home many people invested in their homes and backyards. Allan Kambeitz, the VP of merchandising with Best Buy Canada, said when employees were forced to work from home many were buying office furniture, updating their Wi-Fi network and computer equipment. “You might have had a home office before and a lot of people did, but they might not have been prepared to spend eight-plus hours a day in it, so now they are looking for a more comfortable chair or desk, said Kambeitz.

Obituary: Tracy A. Fowler March 18, 1969 – Feb. 4, 2021 TRACY A. FOWLER March 18, 1969 – Feb. 4, 2021 Our beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and nephew, Tracy A. Fowler passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 at the age of 51. Tracy was born March 18, 1969 in Albuquerque, NM. In 1973 he moved to Berkley, CA with his parents and then to Los Alamos, NM in 1975. Feb. 15, 1978 Tracy was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. From 1978 to 1985 he spent time at the American Diabetes Association Summer Camp for kids and the last two summers as a counselor. In his younger years Tracy played little league baseball, was a Cub and Boy Scout, and spent many beautiful days skiing with friends and family at Pajarito Mountain. As a student in middle and high school he was the feather weight on the wrestling teams.
