Molly McShane took over in October as CEO of McShane Cos., a Rosemont-based construction and development business. She succeeds her father, Jim McShane, 76, who founded the business in 1984 and remains chairman. A graduate of Boston College and Northwestern University s Kellogg School of Management, she joined the company in 2002 after working briefly in advertising. McShane, 44, is one of five children; only one other sibling Dan, general counsel works for the company. She and her husband have two girls and live in Bucktown.
