To speed up delivery, Singapore has deployed two of its Air Force aircraft to transport oxygen cylinders and other critical supplies that will arrive in India later on Wednesday.
“Last year, India helped the world and Singapore by exporting essential medicines and supplies. Now we stand with India as you fight COVID. Singapore Minister Maliki Osman flagged off two of RSAF’s C-130s, arriving in India today with 256 oxygen cylinders to support last mile oxygen delivery,” Singapore High Commission in India said on Twitter.
New Delhi: The infection of the second wave of coronavirus is spreading rapidly in the country and the health system has collapsed. The increasing number of cases of corona epidemic has become a burden on health care, which has worsened the situation. Many people in India have died only because they could not get oxygen on time.
Meanwhile, amidst the howl from Corona in the country, many countries are coming forward and helping India. In the same vein, Canada has also announced to help India. Canadian International Development Minister Karina Gould has announced that Canada will provide 10 million dollars in aid to India amid the corona war.
