Today, the American Lung Association announced that the annual Pulmonary WinterCourse Conference, set for February 20-21, has gone virtual to educate physicians on the latest developments and latest developments and techniques in the diagnosis and management of adults and children with lung disease. The conference typically takes place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando but was reimagined as an interactive virtual event to be hosted through the 6Connex Platform.
The Pulmonary WinterCourse Conference is continuing medical education conference that has been facilitated for over 42 years, covering the Florida and Georgia area. A little more than 500 years ago, a meeting occurred between two men that forever altered the course of history. The encounter took place in the magnificent Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán, the seat of a wealthy and powerful Aztec empire that ruled over vast regions of central and southern Mexico. On Nov. 8, 1519, the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés, after months of battling neighboring cities, entered Tenochtitlán and won an audience with the emperor we know as Montezuma II, the last fully independent ruler of the Aztec empire.
