SAMPLER: Birthday party held for Yorkshire
Mary Wenzel
For Kizzy, the Yorkshire dog, it was Paw-ty Time on May 2 as she was treated to a birthday party hosted by her “Mom,” Neusa Brown. Born in March seven years ago, Kizzy was dressed in her party best as friends gathered to wish her well. The festivities were held in the Courtyard at 240 Main St., with hungry guests dining on pizza and snacks as well as two birthday cakes. The tables were decorated for the occasion. Many guests brought birthday cards for Kizzy. Dogs are definitely members of the family and Neusa invited family members to join with friends for the celebration. The day was a fun time for the dog’s Mom and it was a great way for guests to spend a spring afternoon.
