New day center opening for the homeless in Terre Haute
A vacant property in Terre Haute will soon be turned into a day center for the homeless and low income populations.

TERRE HAUTE, IND. (WTHI) More efforts are underway to help the homeless. On Thursday, the Terre Haute City Council fully approved a new rezoning effort by Reach Services. The plan is to turn a vacant property into a day center for the homeless and low-income populations.
This is just one way Reach Services says it s taking initiative to help the homeless population in Terre Haute. The organization says it s important to prioritize those in the community that are underserved.

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - Attorney Joe Etling will remain the face of the Vigo county democratic party.
Etling was re-elected chair during a caucus Saturday.
City councilwoman and attorney Martha Crossen challenged Etling for the seat.
Etling won with a 116-votes to Crossen s 58.
Etling has served as chair for more than two decades.
Also at the caucus Kim Worland was elected vice-chair, John Wright was elected treasurer, and Michelle Edwards secretary.
174-people voted which is a hundred percent of those eligible.
