Suspects Identified, One Arrested in Neenah Stabbing

By Casey Nelson Apr 21, 2021 4:11 PM NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) – Neenah Police say they have a track on who stabbed 22-year-old Rodger Ridgeway six times in the chest along Martens Street on Saturday night. “Over the past four days, our investigators have worked tirelessly and extremely hard to bring the suspect – and suspects – to justice,” said Chief Aaron Olson. Police identified 26-year-old Mandel Roy and 28-year-old Terran Colwell of Minneapolis, Minnesota as suspects in the case. Roy has already been taken into custody. But Chief Olson says the suspects aren’t the only people they’re looking to speak with regarding this case.

Neenah Police Identify Saturday Stabbing Victim

By Rob Sussman Apr 20, 2021 2:15 PM NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) — Neenah Police have identified the 22-year-old man found stabbed to death in the 200 block of Martens Street on Saturday. Rodger Ridgeway, a Neenah resident, was found in the grass near where police were investigating a tresspassing complaint. Ridgeway had been stabbed several times in the chest. Neenah police will be holding a press conference today. No arrests have been reported, but according to Winnebago County jail records, Neenah police arrested Leguy Roy, 26, on a requested charge of first-degree intentional homicide. Neenah Police have not said if this arrest is connection with the stabbing murder Saturday of Rodger Ridgeway.  The Minneapolis man was arrested Tuesday afternoon.

Neenah stabbing victim identified

Neenah Police have released the name of a weekend stabbing victim. Rodger Ridgeway was found dead with stab wounds to his chest in the 200 block of Martens Street just before midnight Saturday. The death is being investigated as a homicide. Officers had been called to a trespassing report in the 200 block of Main Street shortly before Ridgeway was found. More information on the incident will be released by Neenah Police on April 21.

Just before midnight on Saturday, Neenah police discovered a body lying in the grass in the 200 block of Martens Street while investigating a trespassing complaint nearby. The victim had been stabbed multiple times and was beyond lifesaving efforts. The victims name has not been released. No arrests have been reported. Neenah stabbing: Police investigating after body found downtown

NEENAH – Police are investigating after someone was found stabbed to death Sunday. An officer was investigating a trespassing complaint around midnight when someone told the officer there was a person passed out in the grass in the 200 block of Martens Street in the downtown area, according to Neenah police. Officials said the officer found the person with blood and injuries to their upper chest. The person was “beyond life-saving efforts.” Officials believe the person was stabbed to death.
