Industrial Commercial Properties plans to replace the dated front of the office/warehouse building at 25550 Commerce Park Drive with a more contemporary look. ICP just acquired the property from the City of Beachwood.
Industrial Commercial Properties LLC, a Solon real estate owner and developer, announced Wednesday, April 21, that it has added the first Beachwood property to its 150-property portfolio in five states.
ICP acquired from the city of Beachwood the northern portion of the city s service garage with an entrance at 23550 Commerce Park Drive. The deal gives the company a 112,000-square-foot office/warehouse property. The suburb retained another part of the property, of more than 140,000 square feet, facing Mercantile Road.

BEACHWOOD, Ohio The city’s community garden is a big hit and now talk is moving on to possibly installing dedicated pickle ball courts in the park to the north of the Beachwood Aquatic Center.
“The community garden has been a tremendous success,” Mayor Martin Horwitz said. The city added the community garden last year in the park, beginning with 40 gardening plots, all of which residents quickly scooped up. This year, another 20 plots were added and, they too, quickly sold out.

BEACHWOOD, Ohio Mayor Martin Horwitz announced today (March 15) that he will be seeking re-election in the fall.
Horwitz said that, due to the pandemic, he will be kicking off the campaign for his second term with a drive-thru petition-signing event from 2 to 4 p.m. March 21 at 2238 Halcyon Road.
Safety protocols will be in place as residents are asked to stop by and sign a petition. Horwitz is asking those who can’t stop by to send him an email at HorwitzforBeachwood@gmail.com or call 216-403-6868, and he will visit your home with a petition to sign.

BEACHWOOD, Ohio Plans for the sale of nearly half of the city’s massive service department garage are still on, but undergoing modifications, as City Council approved Monday (March 1) legislation that includes addendums to the original sale agreement.
The building, 23550 Commerce Park, was purchased by the city more than a decade ago after it served as the offices and warehouse of Jo-Ann Fabrics stores. The city is selling the northern portion of the building for $2.7 million to Industrial Commercial Properties (ICP), of Solon. The company refurbishes such large commercial and industrial properties for reuse and lease. Beachwood is selling the northern portion of the building, which measures 116,000 square feet and was formerly used by Jo-Ann Fabrics as office space, and will retain for service department use the sou
