A PROJECT inspired by Shetland accordionist Peter Wood which brought together people during lockdown through music has won a national award.
Tunes in the Hoose won the community music project of the year prize at the 2020 MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
It is an online community which was created to allow Scottish musicians to keep playing together during the pandemic.

It grew rapidly, with musicians across the world getting on board.
The project was inspired by daily videos Wood took of himself playing accordion when lockdown started earlier this year – with his clips going for 150 days straight.
