MARCELLUS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) Cass County authorities say a two-vehicle crash late Wednesday evening left a woman from Schoolcraft injured.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 10000 block of Pioneer Street in Marcellus Township just before midnight. Investigations showed that a car, driven by 29-year-old Lilith Granberg of Schoolcraft, struck a vehicle that was turning into a driveway.
Granberg was injured and transported to a Three Rivers hospital. Her condition has not been reported. The other driver, 77-year-old Carol Baldwin of Marcellus was not injured in the crash. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

MARCELLUS TOWNSHIP, Mich. â One person was hurt during a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Cass County.
Cass County Sheriffâs Office deputies responded about 11:59 p.m. to the 10000 block of Pioneer Street in Marcellus Township, according to a news release Thursday.
A sheriffâs office investigation showed that a car â driven by a 29-year-old Schoolcraft woman â hit a vehicle turning into a driveway.
The 77-year-old Marcellus woman driving the second vehicle was not injured in the crash, but the Schoolcraft woman was transported to Three Rivers Hospital for her injuries.

Kelly T. Fletcher, 53, of New Port Richey, Fla., died April 4, 2021, in a motorcycle accident in New Port Richey.
He grew up in Marcellus and graduated from Marcellus Central Schools. He was a member of the Marcellus Fire Department, according to his obituary.
Kelly worked as a chef and was currently executive head chef at Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City, Fla. He started his career at Ulele restaurant in Tampa, Fla.
An annual scholarship fund in his name is being set up for aspiring chefs in the hospitality industry. Services were held in New Port Richey, Fla., and a private memorial service will be held in Marcellus.

MARCELLUS TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported at around 2:34 p.m. on Sunday deputies were called to investigate a man who had fallen through the ice on Saddlebag Lake in Marcellus Township.
Upon arrival, the 58-year-old Cassopolis resident was holding onto the ice and unable to get out, reported the sheriff’s office.
Deputies along with the Marcellus Fire Department suited into rescue gear and were able to pull the man out of the water and onto the shore, stated the report.
