RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) Tennessee’s flag was unfurled from atop North Carolina’s old Capitol on Tuesday for a movie being filmed this week at the Greek Revival-style building.
The production of the “Evolution of Nate Gibson” began shooting Monday at the building on Union Square in downtown Raleigh and will continue until Wednesday, Department of Cultural and Natural Resources spokeswoman Michele Walker said.
The Department of Administration, which oversees state government buildings, granted permission to the filmmakers to fly on Tuesday the Tennessee flag on the pole atop the building, instead of the North Carolina flag, Walker said.
Tiffany Haddish
Born in South Central Los Angeles, California, Haddish was the oldest of five siblings. Her father, Tsihaye Reda Haddish, was a refugee from Eritrea and her mother Leola was an African American small business owner. Haddish s father left when she was three, but her mother remarried and later gave birth to her four siblings.
Haddish had a tough childhood, seeing that her mother got into a car accident and suffered from severe brain damage, which is believed to have led to her schizophrenia. At nine, Haddish was the primary caregiver of her family. After being put not foster care at the age of 12, she was finally reunited with her siblings and taken care of by her grandmother.
