AMS Global adds seven new members to the team as it continues to see business growth
Marine consulting and safety specialists AMS Global Group has added seven new members to the teams across its various divisions as it continues to upscale in response to an ongoing surge of activity in business.
Four of the new starts, Kenny MacDonald, Charlie Duncan, and Danny Brown, who are safety technicians and Karl Meadows, a disinfection technician have joined the safety division where services include mitigating risk in confined space, working at height, disinfection and fire and gas detection.
Colin Young joins AMS as a marine assurance surveyor in the marine technical service, Marc Taylor is a new workshop operations supervisor with the company and Ania Janiak joins as finance controller.

The show, which The Weeknd will also executive produce and co-write, follows a pop singer who falls in love with an LA club owner, played by The Weeknd, who also happens to be a cult leader. The series was also co-created by Reza Fahim; The Weeknd s manager, Wassim Slaiby, and creative director, La Mar C. Taylor, will also executive produce the project.

The 31-year-old singer (real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye) has come aboard to star in and co-write and star in a new series currently titled The Idol, according to Variety.
The singer will co-create the series alongside Levinson and Reza Fahim, who will all serve as executive producers.

The Weeknd is bringing his talents to HBO.
The R&B superstar is teaming up with the creator of “Euphoria” on a new cult series titled “The Idol.” According to Variety, The Weeknd will star in and co-write the show, which follows a female pop singer who starts a romance with an enigmatic L.A. club owner who is the leader of a secret cult.
The Weeknd will serve as co-writer and executive producer along with Reza Fahim and Sam Levinson (“Euphoria”). Joseph Epstein will also write and executive produce in addition to serving as showrunner. The Weeknd’s manager, Wassim “SAL” Slaiby, and creative director, La Mar C. Taylor, will co-executive produce.
