DANVILLE – Originally scheduled for Feb. 20 of this year, the Danville Blue Devils Annual Power Lifting Meet will be held instead on Tuesday, June 1.
Weigh-ins for the competition will be held from 8-10 a.m. with the competition starting at 10:30 a.m. There is an entry fee of $10 per lifter, who must also have a permission slip signed by a guardian.
Participants will have three attempts at the bench, squat and dead lift. The meet rules on each of these lifts are available on the school website, which also has the permission slip form and registration for the event under the Annual Power Lifting Meet tab.
